Quick Fact
Three aspects of hot tub use are responsible for their many benefits.  Warm water, massage from the jets, and buoyancy of water.

Why Clearwater Spas?

For spa owners, one of the greatest frustrations is a leaking spa.  With the only exception being Bullfrog Spas, no manufacturer offers a legitimate plumbing warranty that exceeds 5 years.

Today, most hot tub manufacturers build what is known as a "Full Foam" spa.  They spray polyurethane foam in the space between their cabinet and the spa shell.  The foam expands to fill this space & once cured, is very hard  because it's used to support the spa shell.  It saves the manufacturer money, but your plumbing is buried in that foam.  Hence leaks are extremely difficult & expensive to repair.

Clearwater Spas has solved this leaking problem by using no foam in their construction, yet their spas are extremely efficient.

Clearwater Spas

A close inspection of this photo of an actual Clearwater Spa reveals many advantages to the Clearwater design.

6" PVC pillars used to support the spa shell

* No Wood.  Why no wood?
* Not foam which will compress over time with over a ton of water pressing on it
2-piece nuts used to secure jet housings to the shell
*Most use single piece nuts which can tear the jet housing seal
"Soft" 90 degree bends in the plumbing improves jet performance
*Most use "hard" 90 degree bends, but how can you know when they are full-foam
Insulated cabinet & flooring achieves better insulation than most full foam spas
*Should a leak need repair, it's easy!
The Acrylobond® shell is "rigidized" with Isotec®, not fiberglass
*Many use fiberglass which has toxic resins & does not bond well to acrylic
*Some don't rigidize their spa shell at all.  They simply use the polyurethane foam for shell support.
Clearwater Spas
Clearwater Spas embeds a steel mesh in the Isotec® rigidizer to give you a 20 Year Shell Surface Warranty!
*No other spa company exceeds 7 years on their Surface Warranty
